How to coach the kids for school?
A good teacher must himself be a fellow traveller in the exciting pursuit of knowledge. - Dr. S. Radhakrishnan
These quotes manifest that a mother has to be a teacher when she teaches her kids. Henceforth most of the schools obviously emphasis that the parents should be educated to a level where they can support their kids education fundamentally.

Maths. Ya, this is a subject which is mostly looked upon with fear. And this is the subject which cannot be distinguished by any languages and a must for higher education that could credit you more earnings. So, when you start this subject to your kids, start it in a easier way like playing games which will eventually induce interest on maths. Raise simple questions that could give an intorduction to the logics of addition and subtraction to them as below:

1. You have 2 apples and 1 orange in your basket. Can you say how many fruits do you have?
2. You have 1 blue coloured pencil and 1 red coloured pencil and now can you say how many pencils you have dear?
3. Of your pencils give me one and say how many it remains?

Then make them know the importance of maths as below:

Mathematics
1. provides a suitable type of discipline to the mind of the leaner
2. develops habits of concentration, self-reliance and discovery
3. develops leaner's power of expression
4. forms the basic for scientific and realistic attitude towards life

Sure your kids will start loving Mathematics as fun.

Half of the coaching to kids comes from proper listening to lessons as taught by Teachers. Guidelines to overcome poor listening and accomplish an effective and improved listening in the class:
1. Concentration with proper Eye Contact
2. Concentration with proper Body language
3. Avoid distracting actions or gestures
4. Ask questions on doubts
5. Paraphrase
6. Avoid interpreting speaker
