Whales
Being the largets animals in the sea, they are not fish. They are mammals. Mammals breathe air,warm-blooded. They have lots of fats called blubber that keep them warm. It comes to the surface to breathe air through a blow-whole on its head. Whales come in all sizes. The smallest onces are porpoises and dolphins and the biggest ones are blue whales and they are the largest animals in the world
Special whales
Baleen whales - They gulp in water and krill, then sift the water through their baleen. Humpback whales are baleen whales that do not have teeth. They have fringes of bristle called baleen instead. These whales eat tiny shrimps and krill.
Other whales
Other whales have teeth, such as Sperm whales do have sharp teeth and they eat squid, fish and other animals. They find food by making clicking noises. These clicks bounce off animals in their way and send back echoes. The whales listens to echoes to find out where the animal is.
